We operate at the intersection of multiphase flow, high-performance computing, and applied hydraulic engineering — translating research expertise into practical, implementable solutions.
Dr. Marcela Politano
Founder and Principal Engineer

Dr. Politano is an expert in multiphase environmental flows, specializing in total dissolved gas (TDG) modeling downstream of hydropower dams. Over more than two decades, she has developed advanced numerical models and high-fidelity CFD tools used to design TDG mitigation strategies, optimize hydropower operations, and support fish passage and environmental compliance. Her expertise extends to modeling stratified reservoirs, salinity intrusion in navigation locks, and watershed-scale hydrologic systems.
She has led projects sponsored by major hydropower utilities in the United States and Brazil, USACE districts, Bureau of Reclamation, DOE and NSF. She has authored over 50 peer-reviewed publications with more than 1,200 citations and serves as Associate Editor of the ASCE Journal of Hydraulic Engineering. Marcela Politano – Google Scholar
Dr. Pablo Carrica
Founder and Senior Technical Advisor

Dr. Carrica is an expert in multiphase flows, cavitation, and high-fidelity numerical simulations. His work spans naval hydrodynamics, environmental flows, and advanced turbulence modeling. Over more than three decades, he has developed advanced numerical methodologies to support naval, offshore, and environmental hydrodynamics applications.
He has served as technical leader on major federally funded research programs sponsored by ONR, NSF, and U.S. Navy laboratories, leading large multidisciplinary teams in the development of next-generation CFD tools. He has authored over 100 peer-reviewed publications with about 9,000 citations and is member of the editorial board of prestigious journals and the Connecticut Academy of Science and Engineering.
